Starlight Creations is a small company with a small idea: To offer the smallest, lightest, most portable laptop stands anywhere, and to sell them at the lowest possible price. I looked at the laptop stands in the marketplace for my own use, and none of them was what I wanted. Most are too bulky, too expensive, too complicated, too ugly. I wanted something very small and portable that used passive cooling. It does not make sense to me to cool down the laptop by plugging in fans; this will put more load on the laptop batteries, which will generate additional heat and reduce run times. I also wanted it to be inexpensive, yet still a high quality item that will last for years. I didn't want a cheap plastic stand that would have to be replaced every 6 months. It had to be small and enough so that putting it into your laptop case was a no-brainer. Out of this came Latosta, which is small, simple, inexpensive, and should last for many years. And now our new versions allow you to choose your style for that personalized look.
